An iPhone app that turns paper receipts into spreadsheet rows. Snap a receipt and Slip reads the merchant, date, VAT and total into a table, then exports the month as CSV, Excel or PDF.

UK VAT (0%, 5% and 20%) and German VAT (7% and 19%) by rate, and US sales tax or GST (Canada, Australia, New Zealand) as one tax line at any rate. If you're not sure, Slip reads the tax line as printed.

It reads the fields and shows you what to check. Anything it isn't sure about is marked, it checks that the total matches subtotal plus tax, and nothing reaches your export until you save it.

On your phone. The photo goes to Slip's server to be read and isn't stored there. There's no account and no sign-in.

Slip exports CSV and Excel files with the same columns, in the same order, every month, plus a PDF report with the receipt photos.
